Refund policy

Products or Services purchased from The Hash Agency may be refunded only if cancelled within the refund period specified below in this policy. Some products have different policies or requirements for a refund associated with them, including some products that are not eligible for a refund under any circumstance. Please see below for refund terms applicable to such products.

“Date of the transaction”, for the purpose of this Refund Policy, means the date of purchase of any product or service, which includes the date any renewal is processed by The Hash Agency in accordance with the terms and conditions.

“Refund Period”, you may cancel a product at any time, but a refund will only be issued if you request a refund with The Hash Agency’s customer service within the refund time frame specified for the applicable product, if available at all.

Domain Name and Hosting

Domain Name Registrations/ Transfers/ Renewals

Registrations, transfers or renewals of domain names are non-refundable;

Hosting Services

If a Hosting Service has already been performed, then it is non-refundable (if not yet performed, eligible for a refund within 30 days of the date of the transaction).

Purchased Product and/or Service w/ Free Domain

In the event any purchased product(s) and/or service(s) includes a free domain name, then it is non-refundable.

Purchased Product and/or Service w/ Free Hosting

In the event any purchased product(s) and/or service(s) includes a free hosting, then it is non-refundable.

Website Services

Website Design Services:

30% cancellation fee when in progress, 70% cancellation fee when site design is delivered for review, non-refundable once the first revision is completed.

If not yet performed, eligible for a refund within 30 days of the date of the transaction. Once performance has begun, website design service is considered completed 180 days from the date of the transaction and will not be eligible for a refund thereafter.

Website Redesign Services:

30% cancellation fee when in progress, 70% cancellation fee when site design is delivered for review, non-refundable once complete.

Website Maintenance, WordPress Management and IT Services:

Refunds may be granted if the plan is cancelled prior to the end of the billing cycle.

If a Service has already been performed during the month, then that month is non-refundable (if not yet performed, eligible for a refund within 30 days of the date of the transaction). Future unused months of the services may also be refunded if the plan is cancelled and a pre-payment was made.

Logo Design, Business Card Design and Graphic Design

40% cancellation fee when in progress, non-refundable once artwork delivered.

If not yet performed, eligible for a refund within 30 days of the date of the transaction. Once performance has begun, logo design is considered delivered 180 days from the date of the transaction and will not be eligible for a refund thereafter.

Content Marketing, Content Creation and Blog Management

If a Content Marketing Service/ Content Creation Service/ Blog Management Service has already been performed, then it is non-refundable (if not yet performed, eligible for a refund within 30 days of the date of the transaction).

If a Blog Management Service has already been performed during the month, then that month is non-refundable (if not yet performed, eligible for a refund within 30 days of the date of the transaction). Future unused months of the services may also be refunded if the plan is cancelled and a pre-payment was made.

Search Engine Optimization, Internet Marketing and Social Media Management

We offer no lock-in contract for Search Engine Optimization Services, Internet Marketing Services and Social Media Management Services. You can subscribe to our Services monthly, quarterly or a 12-month commitment.

Refunds may be granted if the plan is cancelled prior to the end of the billing cycle.

All Setup fees are non-refundable as it is applied to costs immediately incurred by The Hash Agency in initiating services. The ad spend are non-refundable for the current month. We may refund future pre-paid months.

If a Service has already been performed during the month, then that month is non-refundable (if not yet performed, eligible for a refund within 30 days of the date of the transaction). Future unused months of the services may also be refunded if the plan is cancelled and a pre-payment was made.

Other Non-refundable Services

Including but not limited to:

  • Fees for recovery or reactivation of domain names;
  • Dedicated IP Addresses;
  • Any Services purchased or acquired at a reduced fee or on promotion; or
  • Any fees paid by you to The Hash Agency for providing non-service related support.

You are expected to provide us with:

  • Why you are asking for a refund;
  • Transaction identifying information (e.g. account username, transaction number, domain name, date of purchase); and
  • Any additional information the Customer Service team asks for in order to process your refund request.

How the money will be refunded if a refund is approved

If you have paid using your credit card – the money will be transferred back to your credit card account within 30 business days after approval.  If you paid using a check or bank transfer, your refund will be returned to you by bank transfer.
